Privacy policy

Who we are

Against The Odds is a social football prediction game. This document explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Why we use it

To run the game: to recognise you, keep your predictions, calculate points, show league tables and fix problems. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.

Who it is shared with

We use Google services (Firebase and Google Cloud) for authentication, crash reports and infrastructure, and Supabase to host the database. Sign-in happens with Google or Apple, as you choose. These providers process the information on our behalf only. We do not share personal information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

What is kept on your device

We keep your sign-in state, a prediction ticket you have not sent yet, and preferences such as language on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct your information — contact us and we will handle it. You can delete your account and everything linked to it yourself, inside the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone; the full details are on the “Delete your account” page.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.

Changes to this document

If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of the page. A material change will be brought to your attention inside the app.
